From the first combi-steamer to the SelfCooking Center®
In 1976 RATIONAL invented the combi-steamer technology. The equipment of the first series was limited to the two modes “Dry heat” and “Steam”. Ventilation was performed manually with the “Regulating flap for fresh air flushing” Thanks to continuous further development, the combi-steamer became more advanced, but also increasingly complicated to use.
With the invention of the Rational SelfCooking Center®, cooking has now become simpler than it was 30 years ago: the chef only has to enter the desired result – the intelligence of the SelfCooking Center® guarantees the optimum cooking process and therefore always produces perfect results.
